Sub-Mariners, or Pilots of Justice and Equality?
What does the J.D.A stand for?
Why are we here?
Why do we need and believe in coming together to set up a party and pressure group in order to represent the voice of the people in all spheres of life in our Island?
The new Jersey Democratic Alliance Party is alive and ready to serve our Island at present as a ‘watchdog’ and pressure group whenever needed as a voice for the people in all walks of life and industry. We believe in equal opportunity from the bottom up and the top down, we do not wish to be exclusive in working for any one particular group or singular sided agenda, but stand and endeavour to work for justice representing all human endeavour that compliments or opposes change for the improvement in equality and social justice for all.
Do we still believe that there is a future for the Jersey Democratic Alliance in our ‘parliament’, bearing in mind that we do have members, and have helped place members, in the States with your votes!
That really is a question of your decision as to whether you feel that justice is always done? Is this the future direction that you wish to see your Island moving into and as its standing as part of the global conscience towards mankind and the question of playing our part in the worlds ecology programme.
Do you believe that our Island could be better run by a party system enabling greater choice and transparency, more of a voice from a wider spread of public and private investment?
Do we wish to serve as a party seen as in opposition - for oppositions sake? No! Why change what is good?, but better still why not change and improve where necessary for the good of all sections of society, that which is unfair, unbalanced and unjust!
Can politicians get it right for everyone all of the time, well take out the human factor then maybe utopia is possible. What and where are the guarantees to please everyone from any individual, Ministry or Party, indeed difficult! Therefore we need to be responsive with a listening ear encouraging a wide participation as possible from all denominations within our Island, that is the only way to move in the true meaning of democracy. Your interest and involvement is critical, necessary and important!
Please sign up to a united Democratic Alliance with us!
We need to grow, unite and strengthen in serving all sections of public, business and industry in order to affect understanding and unity. From the acorn to the oak, clearly understanding where the oak came from also realising just how the acorn grew from the branches of the oak. We must realise with respect the reliance one to the other in order to move forwards in unison and success. A Democratic Alliance! Remember from strong little acorns, huge oaks grow! Join us for your views and aspirations now and in the forthcoming elections, remembering they are just around the corner!
